DCMEA Scholarship Information
ANNOUNCING 2024 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
The Scholarship Committee is comprised of the Executive Board and is chaired by the Vice-President. The amount of scholarships and the amount that each is worth is to be determined on an annual basis after review of the budget by the scholarship committee.
All applications must be emailed to our Vice-President, Mr. Brandon Buterbaugh at [email protected] by the assigned date.

High School Summer Music Memorial Scholarship
The DCMEA High School Summer Memorial Scholarship is presented in honor of passed colleagues that served in Dauphin County. The total amount is determined each year by the Scholarship Committee and is evenly divided among the qualified applicants. Applications must be postmarked by May 15.

Middle School Summer Music Memorial Scholarship
The DCMEA Middle School Summer Memorial Scholarship is presented in honor of passed colleagues that served in Dauphin County. The total amount is determined each year by the Scholarship Committee and is evenly divided among the qualified applicants. Applications must be postmarked by May 15.

DCMEA Scholarship to attend PMEA's Future Music Educators Honors Symposium
This scholarship will be to underwrite a student’s participation in the PMEA Future Music Educator’s Honors Symposium. This scholarship will be offered, as determined by the Scholarship Committee, based upon monies left over from the previous year's DCMEA Senior Scholarship. Applications must be postmarked by Feb. 29.
(If you have already applied for the PMEA Future Music Educator Honors Symposium through the PMEA website, instead of filling out the application below, you may print your PMEA application and mail that along with a list of DCMEA festivals you have participated in. Please list what grade you were in when you participated in those festivals).
